Lumaki ako sa Tambobong. Mahal ko ang barrio ko. Mahirap pumunta dito dati kasi wala naman talagang daanan, rough road na 25kilometers. Dahil dito, wala halos bisita nagpupunta sa amin.10 years na kami nananalo na pinaka malinis na beach sa buong Pangasinan. Strikto si Kapitana Arroyo sa pag papatupad ng anti littering at cleanliness campaigns sa amin. Subalit tulad ng ibang mga fishing community sa Pilipinas ay talamak ang dynamite at cyanide fishing sa amin. Nung bata ako ay natatandaan ko na sobrang daming isda sa amin. Lumaot ka lang sa tubig na hanggang bewang ay maykakakuha ka na ng samut saring isdang malalaki.
Ngayon na 21 years old na ako ay halos wala nang makuhang kabuhayan sa karagatan. Madalas, lalo na pag tag ulan ay lumuluwas ang mga kababayan ko sa maynila upang maghanap ng trabaho.

Subalit ngayon, unti unti nang bumabalik ang ganda ng karagatan lalo na sa tapat at paligid ng Tambobong at Osmena. Ilang taon na rin nakalipas nung huling makita o mabalitaan ko na merong nag dinamita kaya tumutubo na rin ulit ang mga corals at bumabalik unti ang marine life.(picture below:crocodile island, colibra island, Pantalan parking)
Hanggang ngayon ay maganda pa rin ang mga beach sa amin. Palagay ko ay ideal vacation place ngayon kasi hindi pa commercialized at tahimik. Pino ang white sand sa amin at parang Boracay na hindi umiinit ang buhangin.

HOW TO GET THERE:
BY CAR:
Take NLEX and go onto SCTEX. On SCTEX head towards TARLAC/BAGUIO but exit at HACIENDA LUICITA exit. Go on McArthur Highway and turn left at SIESTA (mercury drug) going towards CAMILING. Stay on the NATIONAL ROAD until you get to ALAMINOS. From ALAMINOS, go on towards BURGOS. At Burgos you will see a PETRON GAS STATION just after the small burgos town proper. Turn RIGHT on that small street in front of the Petron Gas Station and then turn Left at the dead end. Go on the cemented/asphalted road until you reach Baryo ng Concordia. From there keep going straight to Pogoruac and turn LEFT at the T section. After 3.5kilometers you will see an intersection marked by a GIANT Tire, turn LEFT at the tire. This will bring you to Tambobong/Osmena area. Ask where the PANTALAN (wharf) is located.
BY PUBLIC TRANSPO:
Ride Victory Liner from Cubao to Alaminos (370pesos). From Alaminos town proper, ride another bus or jeep going to BURGOS (50pesos). Then from Burgos town proper in front of market ride another Jeep going to TAMBOBONG/OSMENA and go down at the PANTALAN. This final jeep ride is only available until about 1pm so please take note! If you miss the ride, you can charter a tricycle to tambobong but it will set you back about 300pesos one way!
